Loco lift bridge spans the Huddersfield Broad Canal and was originally constructed in timber. Counterbalance weights assist in lifting the 5.3m span deck; the lifting operation being carried out manually using a winch and pulley system.
- The bridge was reconstructed in steel in 1975 and listed as an ancient monument in 1977.
